- Ayup. UNOS[*] is not a UNIX[**] derivative, it was developed quite
- independantly. The MAI systems are probably old enough that they predate
- the UNIX compatability effort, but UNOS had a fairly strong UNIX feel to it
- even before passing the SVVS, at least in comparison to (say) VMS. The
- system administration was quite different, but in some ways vastly easier
- (or so I'd like to think).
