- Hello,
- can anyone of you out there tell me what happens to the unused wires
- of the data bus coming out of the 68000 if a byte (8bit) value is
- written to RAM.

- Could it be that both halves (bits 0-7 and bits 8-15) contain the byte
- value to be written and that the RAM then selects the correct bits by
- looking at LDS and UDS?

- What about other 680x0 (especially the 68040)?
