- Hi folks,
-
- I've got a T1000SE that's giving me some problems. I think the battery
- is failing to hold a charge but I'm not sure so I thought I would ask
- the net before I order a new one. Here are the symptoms:
-
- 1) looses its charge really quickly
- 2) sometimes fails to charge at all (last night I couldn't get the
- machine on so I left it charging all night. This morning the
- battery indicator light was green so I disconnected the AC and
- tried to turn on the machine...nothing.)
- 3) with the AC adapter plugged in, I can sometimes get it to boot
- but it will either shut off as it tries to check to A: disk
- or if it manages to boot it will usually stay on until I try
- to use the A: drive and then blink off again.
-
- If you have any advice it would be appreciated. By the way, in case
- it is the battery that's dead, what's the cheapest price for a new
- battery pack? I've seen them for about $59 mailorder.
-
- Many thanks,
- Omid
