  16. I've got a T1000SE that's giving me some problems.  I think the battery
  17. is failing to hold a charge but I'm not sure so I thought I would ask
  18. the net before I order a new one.  Here are the symptoms:
  19.  
  20. 1) looses its charge really quickly
  21. 2) sometimes fails to charge at all (last night I couldn't get the 
  22.    machine on so I left it charging all night.  This morning the
  23.    battery indicator light was green so I disconnected the AC and
  24.    tried to turn on the machine...nothing.)
  25. 3) with the AC adapter plugged in, I can sometimes get it to boot
  26.    but it will either shut off as it tries to check to A: disk
  27.    or if it manages to boot it will usually stay on until I try
  28.    to use the A: drive and then blink off again.

  30. If you have any advice it would be appreciated.  By the way, in case
  31. it is the battery that's dead, what's the cheapest price for a new
  32. battery pack?  I've seen them for about $59 mailorder.
