- I got $350 for it, $450 was too much. T1200XE's can/have been had for $500,
- better screen (sidelit), same keyboard, 286, HD, but is MUCH bigger.
-
- The T1000SE is a GREAT machine, and I will miss it, but I hope to get a
- 286/HD/VGA laptop, a minor upgrade I know, but best I can do on my meager
- income. Speed and flexiblility are important to me right now. When I have work
- to be done, the hard disk will help a lot. Anything is possible with the
- T1000SE, do not get me wrong, I am just looking to run some software that
- needs more disk space, and CPU to be tolerable.
-
- For a spreadsheet, word processor, and terminal the T1000SE is GREAT. For
- Pspice(student version), it is not.
-
- Why can they not make a keyboard like that on a notebook any more? All then
- new ones look flat, and while being full travel, are not full height. :-(
-
- Tip:
- Get 'fastse.com' if you can, it will marginally improve system performance,
- just enough in my opinion to be worth the effort.
