  9.    I am interested in finding out information on the following
  10. brands/models.  If you have any experience with any of the following,
  11. please e-mail (or post) your overall opinion as well as specific
  12. features that are particularly good or bad...

  14. Altima 400 series (any model)- the local distributor (about 2 hours
  15.      away) doesn't provide a 30-day money-back guarantee, and homey
  16.      don't play that game unless there are a lot of positive comments
  17.      from the net...

  19. Dell- A good company, but is the price reasonable? How do they
  20.      compare with other comparable machines?

  22. Compaq LTE models- any information on these would be appreciated
  23.      (I have the BYTE review Jan 1993)

  25. In general, what reccomendations do you have for a good (but
  26.      inexpensive) 486 or fast 386 notebook? It should have
  27.      video that windows is at least tolerable on. Low price
  28.      is more important than a color screen (unless there is a
  29.      good cheap passive matrix)
  30.  Final Price range should be 1800-2500...
