  16. Here's what I think is possible. 
  17. Not so long ago I saw somewhere (any pointers welcome_
  18. a stupid device which is actually two boxes. One is plugged
  19. in the phone wall outlet and the other has the batteries and
  20. you drag it around in the house or the yard and plug a general 
  21. household phone in it. Now your phone is cordless - kind of.

  23. I have a strong feeling that this can be done to laptops with
  24. internal modems - so no more 30 ft of phone wires in the house, 
  25. and a wife complaining about a tipped floor lamp.....
  26.  
  27. Any idea who makes those phone "RABBITS" ?
