- I have been contacted by a few places asking if we have anyone with
- Isis experience finishing up. In fact, Cornell has a "bumper crop" of
- new PhD's in this area, and with the job market so weak this year,
- I am taking the liberty of making this posting.
-
- These are just the students I know best, within a broader pool that
- includes others who are also super. All of these are people with
- research interests in the type of distributed systems that Isis can be
- used to build; some of them have made major contributions to the real
- system. They will all have Ph.D. degrees when they leave.

- Feel free to contact:

- Cliff Krumvieda cliff@cs.cornell.edu
- Mike Reiter reiter@cs.cornell.edu
- Aleta Ricciardi aleta@cs.cornell.edu
- Mark Wood wood@cs.cornell.edu
-
- Plus, although not directly in the Isis group:
- Tushar Chandra tushar@cs.cornell.edu
- Prasad Jayanti prasad@cs.cornell.edu
-
- I understand that Cliff is mostly interested in positions in industry,
- while the others are looking both at academic positions and industry.
