- Really? The impression I got from the COMPCON 90 paper on BiiN/OS was
- that it included rather a lot of software, and that only low-level stuff
- was done by the chip's hardware or by (so-called-micro-)code on the
- chip.

- It did *more* in hardware and on-chip firmware than most systems, but I
- get the impression that it did *less* on-chip, and left more up to
- software, than the 432 did, for example.
