- Three things..
- 1) Your news software is mis-configured. It produced a null or invalid
- "From:" line. It also was missing the Sender or Reply-to line.
- Had to guess your E-mail address by piecing
- the news headers together. Most likely your NNTP client host
- "piglet" is mis-configured. Your NNTP server did not help much
- either.. With no valid "From:" line, some news software programs
- will drop your article on the floor.
- Here is the news header as arrived at my site:

- 2) No username was attached to the article, hard to figure out who
- you are. No sig line was attached either.. I hope this
- E-mail address works that I cobbled together.
- I guessed with egrayver@piglet.caltech.edu.
- Just in case, I am posting this as well.
-
- 3) Answer to your post..
-
- RT disks came in a varity of flavors.
-
- The R-40 disks are MFM and the same as PC-AT original hard drive.
- The R-70 drive is ESDI, as well as the E-70 drive.
- The only difference is the number of sectors/track.
-
- Cost of PC controllers has been dropping, most likely around
- the $100.00-200.00 range, depending on features, speed and ect...
