- Summary: Question using VRM
- Keywords: VRM, harddrive
-
- I had this old RT running for about three years. Several IBM
- products had been installed which produced hard drive partitions
- and links to them with VRM. I wanted to recover and reuse the
- space. I so deleted the partitions using minidisks. I then
- created a new partition using minidisks. Now to the question.
- What do I need to do to make VRM happy? On boot its gives me
- errors about the vrm configuration. It is complaining about the
- partitions I deleted. What tool do I use to tell VRM that these
- partitions are deleted?
-
- P.S. I checked the manuals and I booted the VRM floppies. I
- checked the configuration and it looks OK. Do I need to install
- VRM again after I get the configuration correct?
-
- I feel foolish asking because I just can't seem to remember or find
- the correct steps to make this process happen. I'm sure that two
- years ago it would have been obvious. Thanks for any help provided.
