  22. Yes, if you're set up appropriately.  I have a PC at home and a Mac at work.  
  23. I have WordPerfect for Windows on the PC and WordPerfect on the Mac.  I also 
  24. have DOS Mounter on the Mac.

  26. If I generate a WordPerfect file on my PC, copy it to a diskette, bring it 
  27. into work, and put the diskette into the Mac, the icon appears as a plain 
  28. document icon.  When I go into WP on the Mac and tell it to open that file, I 
  29. get a message that it (WP for the Mac) is doing a WP 5.0, 5.1 Import and when 
  30. the document comes up, all the formatting is present.

  32. Now, in order for a WP document on a Mac to be readable on a PC, I have to 
  33. tell WP for the Mac to save it as a WP 5.0, 5.1 Export.  When I do so, the 
  34. icon on the Mac appears as the WP icon, but instead of the feather, there are 
  35. the letters "PC" in the icon.

  37. ** Note: WP for Windows will not recognize a file saved in the native WP for
  38.          the Mac format (WP 2.0) -- at least I haven't been able to get it to.
