- For what it's worth, we solved the problem by distributing a whole bunch
- of packet drivers on every machine, then putting the load line for each
- card in the autoexec.bat and in a loaddrv.bat file we store in the same
- directory as the packet drivers.

- This is sufficient, considering that one needs not only the type of card
- installed but its settings. Also, we cannot mark hard drives read only.
