  18. I have just built a 386-sx 2 meg of mem 60 meg disk drive
  19. all works well until I install windows 3.1
  20.  
  21. Windows crashs the machine with the following error message:

  23. Standard mode: Bad fault in MS-DOS Extender
  24. Fault: 000D  stack dump 0000 0000 0070
  25. ...

  27. I also get protection violations on control.exe and some other
  28. file [ sorry -I didn't write it down ] while under windows.

  32. I have ms-dos 5.0 windows 3.1 a logitec mouse, a cd-rom drive
  33. and a sound board.

  35. Is this: hardware, disk or bad windows disks that is causing
  36. this. Any help would be appreated
