  13. I'm going to be writing some long assembly programs and I need a good editor.
  14. The feautures I'm looking for:
  15.  
  16.   1.  Speed (this is important for when I need to page around a lot - I
  17.       guess this means a text-mode editor of some sort).
  18.   2.  Flexible tab stops so I can have long label names (poreferably
  19.       "smart" tabs like most dedicated assemblers have).
  20.   3.  Ability to support a large screen (1024x768).

  22. Up until now I've been using Turbo Pascal 6.0, which scores an "A" on
  23. speed but an "E-" on the other two.  Does anyone have any recommendations?
  24. (Especially the names of any "dedicated" editors, but anything will do).
