- There are other "Stacker-like" programs available. At the moment, I can
- only remember "Double disk" and "SuperStor". I use Stacker 3.0 and I don't
- notice any significant slow down on my 386sx 80M hard drive. Accessing the
- stacker disk is reasonably fast (no I haven't run bench marks). But, be
- aware that Stacker also sells hardware that can do the Stacking for you
- if you find the software emulation too slow. While I haven't tried that
- route, I would expect a piece of hardware to be quite a bit faster than
- the software emulation.

- BTW, various rumors indicate that DOS 6.0 (should it ever come out) would
- have a disk doubling program within it. Perhaps others can expand on that
- rumor.
