  28. Trumpet works perfectly well over a modem connection using the SLIP protocol.  
  29. I am using one version of it currently.  Another PC NNTP client is the 
  30. Newsreader module of WinQVTnet.  This package also performs adequately over 
  31. SLIP connections.
