- I am looking at getting a 2.88 meg floppy drive, but have heard that the media is
- something like $15 per disk.

- I am curious how a standard 1.44 (high density) disk works if formated to the
- 2.88 size. Something like the fact that 720's work fine as 1.44's if you punch a
- hole in one side of the cartridge.

- If anyone has a drive and would please try it, I thank you in advance.

- You may need to find a physical difference in the diskettes themselves to get the
- drive to think it is a 2.88 - I do not know.
