- What kind of chip does ATI Integra use?
- Any review/feedback on it? I would like to
- use it with either Mitsubishi DP14 or ViewSonic 5E.

- While looking at some specs of various monitors,
- I came across a few terms/things that I did not understand.
- There must be someone who understands the way monitors
- works.
-
- 1) How are the horizontal/vertical frequencies play
- a role in the display on a non-interlaced monitors?
-
- 2) Most of the newer monitors provide "autoscanning"
- or an automatic adjustment with the horizontal and
- vertical frequencies. How does this work with the
- video cards?
-
- 3) What is the "bandwidth" in the context of monitors?
- e.g. NEC 3FGX has 65 MHz, MAG 14H is 100 MHz.
-
- 4) A different number of colors may be displayed at
- different resolution and for different video standards
- (EGA,VGA,SVGA etc). Is this limitation on part of the
- monitors and/or video cards?
-

- Thanks,
