- You might like to contact Jandel Tel: 415-453-6700 FAX 415-453-7769
- about Sigma Plot 5.0 for DOS. It can handle very big data files and can
- precisely control everyting on the page.
-
- I have not done much statistical or curve fitting with it
- but it can do the job and give the values it uses and display
- it etc. It also has its own pseudo programing language to do more
- complex stuff. It also has a true 3D graphing facility.
-
-
- If you expect large data files, you would want a 486-33
- with at least 4 Meg of RAM and it likes to see
- expanded memory (load EMM386.exe in config.sys).
-
- It also does batch printing.
-
- Call Jandel, but if you want, send me one of the data files
- via email and tell me what you want done with it. I can
- email the a HPGL or Postscript file printout back to you.
-
- I am using Sigma Plot at the moment to do over 200 graphs
- for a journal paper (only 20 or so will go in the final
- draft) and wouldn't mind graphing something new for a distraction.
- I really like this program myself.
-
- PS: There is also a MAC version of this software.
