  21. The 1542 is indeed faster and more widely supported, but!!!!! the 1542
  22. will _not_ work on ISA systems with more than 16MB of RAM (this was
  23. confirmed by Adaptec tech support).  Because of the RAM limitation
  24. (which is due to the way bus-mastering works on the ISA bus), I
  25. had to buy the slower, less expensive 1522 since I plan on having
  26. more than 16MB soon.  The new line of ATI Graphic Pro's also have
  27. the same problem -- and they require you to have TWELVE megabytes or
  28. less.
