  16. I believe that I remember that some kinds of files do not compress well, and
  17. that GIFs are among these.  I believe that I also remember that the so-called
  18. 250MB tapes are really using compression to put 250MB of stuff on a 120MB
  19. tape, so you may not get nearly 250MB per tape.
