  12. Folks,

  14. I'm considering an Adaptec 1522 SCSI controller and Western Digital (~213 MB)
  15. disk combination.  I'm interested in any comments or concerns from users of
  16. this controller.  It will be installed on a Myoda 386DX-33 (ISA motherboard).

  18. Some questions are:
  19.  
  20. 1.  How reliable is it?
  21. 2.  Can it handle a tape backup unit?  I don't know much about these critters.
  22.     QIC or DAT, any recommendations there that might affect the choice of 
  23.     controller?
