  35. How do you get PhotoFinish to save a good, high definition image into a file
  36. that can be used by WordPerfect?  My father-in-law uses PhotoFinish and gets
  37. a great image on the screen and if he dumps it directly to his HP laser
  38. printer, the image is also great.  But, if he saves it into a PCX file (or
  39. TIF) for use as part of a WordPerfect document, it loses a lot of definition
  40. and looks quite blah.  He is scanning good quality black and white
  41. photographs with a good scanner, if that matters.

  43. Can you (or anybody) suggest some work-rounds, or possibly somebody can
  44. suggest another scanning program that doesn't have this problem?  He likes
  45. the fact that PhotoFinish doesn't leave him with a grid, but for use in his
  46. geology lab book, the image has to be much better than what he is currently
  47. getting.
