- Regarding PhotoFinish:
-
- How do you get PhotoFinish to save a good, high definition image into a file
- that can be used by WordPerfect? My father-in-law uses PhotoFinish and gets
- a great image on the screen and if he dumps it directly to his HP laser
- printer, the image is also great. But, if he saves it into a PCX file (or
- TIF) for use as part of a WordPerfect document, it loses a lot of definition
- and looks quite blah. He is scanning good quality black and white
- photographs with a good scanner, if that matters.
-
- Can you (or anybody) suggest some work-rounds, or possibly somebody can
- suggest another scanning program that doesn't have this problem? He likes
- the fact that PhotoFinish doesn't leave him with a grid, but for use in his
- geology lab book, the image has to be much better than what he is currently
- getting.
-
- If you reply to this, please also send me e-mail. Thanks.
