- Hello there,
-
- I have the following questions:
- 1. What is the difference between the 486DX2 and the 486DX 50MHz?
- Doesn't the MHz speed tell you how many clock cycles the CPU
- can perform?
- 2. Usually, a PC (IBM compatible) requires that you have memory
- that can be 1M, 2M, 4M, 8M etc.....multiples of 2. Is that always
- the case for the PC's? Is that the case for the MACs also? Why is that
- the case?
- 3. Hooking an Apple printer to a PC would require I guess an adapter
- that would convert the Centronics Interface signals to the Apple
- Talk Interface signals? Is there such an adaptor and how is it
- called, where can we find one, and approximate what is the price?
- Also, buying such a device what do we need to pay attention to?
-
-
- Thanks,
