- I had a complex but stable configuration on my 386 in which I used a
- 3c503 card to communicate with the world. A disk crash led to DOS 5.00
- installation (replacing 4.01), which left me short of room, so
- I tried 386MAX for the first time. All worked well until I tried
- loading 386MAX in config.sys (even without using it to load drivers
- or TSRs) and then loading the ethernet software. Interestingly, the
- machine will cooperate for a few minutes, and then hangs (not even
- alt-ctrl-del will reset).
-
- It can't be just me, right? Will someone who has forced cooperation
- between the two please contact me (or post)? Thanks a heap.
