  14. There is an 8 bit slot in the NEC APC IV lunchbox style
  15. PC that is supposedly dedicated as a modem slot. This, according to
  16. the instruction guide/pamphlet that came with the machine. 
  17. It specifically says that this slot is for a NEC modem card.
  18.  
  19. Does anyone know if this is actually a proprietary slot? If so,
  20. does anyone know of a way to use it as a standard 8-bit half slot?
