  20. Theres a good reason for it too, actually. The big bottleneck
  21. in tape backup is the actual writing to the tape. The fewer bits 
  22. you can write to the tape the faster your job gets done. So not 
  23. only does the tape hold more, the transfer rate goes up quite a 
  24. bit.

  26. We bought a Maynard 4mm DAT drive just before the new compression 
  27. drives came out *sigh*...
