- I had the same problem when setting up a 386/25 with AMI BIOS. Everything was
- fine except the floppy drives were VERY slow like you said. The solution
- was (aggrivatingly) simple -- turn on shadow RAM in your BIOS settings. On
- this computer after I did this, the floppy drives were fast like they should
- be.
