- Hi all.
-
- I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me about the 386slc chip brought
- out by IBM. From what I've heard it's supposed to be pin compatible with
- the 386sx and includes onboard cache (~2K), instruction optimisation, etc.
- I have a 16MHz 386sx and would like to know if it's possible to rip the
- 386sx chip out and plug this baby in. I also have a coprocessor (although I
- don't see what difference this should make, just thought I'd mention it).
- Is this possible? Is it as simple as this?
-
- Thanks for any help.
