- Hello, I have a 3.5" x 1" harddrive in my computer, that I believe
- is 120MB and I know has a "Quantum Prodrive LPS" sticker on the
- outside. I am trying to find CMOS values and any other specs that
- anyone has available. I have had the drive formatted at 762 cyl,
- 8 tracks, and 39 sectors/track, but I have reason to believe that
- these are the incorrect numbers. My CMOS asks for the following
- #'s
- # of Cylinders #of heads WPcomm Lzone #of Sect
-
- I am also planning on putting in a 386BSD partition, so I need to
- know what type of controller is standard with these drives (I am
- assuming ESDI), the sector size (assuming 512), and whether the
- drive supports bad 144-style bad sector forwarding. Anyone who
- has a drive like this, and has a 386BSD disktab entry for it, please
- let me know.
-
- Also, the technical support number for Quantum would be just as
- appreciated as any of the above information.
-
- Thanks for any help,
-
