- Hello networld. I am thinking about upgrading my computer slightly and I
- wanted to get some ideas before I do anything. This is my current
- configuration:
-
- 386/33 motherboard with Intel 387/33 coprocessor
- 8mb RAM
- Western Digital Piranna 200mb hard disk (13ms)
- ATI graphics ultra 1mb
- Seiko CM-1450 1024x768NI monitor
- 5 1/4" 1.2mb floppy drive
- 3 1/2" 1.44mb floppy drive
- Also, CD-ROM, Colorado Jumbo 250 Tape backup and Proaudio Spectrum 16 sound
- card.
-
- I am currently running DOS and Windows 3.1, but I was thinking about upgrading
- to OS/2 2.0 (no flames please). I wanted to upgrade one of 3 things:
-
- 1) Upgrade to 16mb of RAM
- 2) Getting a second hard drive (My current hard drive is nearly full).
- 3) Upgrade to a 486DX/50 motherboard.
-
- Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.
