  19.   Zeos did very well in Graphics Winmarks, but it was extremely poor in

  24.   they have changed the video card on their 66 VLB system.  They now have a
  25.   Diamond Speedstar 24 VLB card.  The card that was used during the test
  26.   was a Zeos VGA 9000 VLB (with the fast Weitek 9000 chip.)

  28.   In other words, if you are buying a Zeos system expecting the great
  29.   graphics perfomance reported by PC Magazine, you'd better check up on
  30.   this.

  32.   [We had this discussion two or three months ago and I thought everyone
  33.   pretty much decided the Gateway system, if you were willing to chance the
  34.   service, was far superior to the Zeos system.  Since then, the Gateway
  35.   system has swept all the awards.  But now, Zeos has lowered their price
  36.   to $2995 from $3695, so it's probably worth a reevaluation.  In my opinion
  37.   though, Gateway is still better.]
