- I missed the earlier postings in this, so if I'm duping other suggestions,
- please be gentle with me.....

- I've been using a tape drive with dcc2120 tapes for some time now, and
- have also had occassions with high error rates. A few things to watch for:

- 1) MAKE SURE THE TAPE DRIVE is grounded! LOTS of static is developed as
- the tape runs past the heads, and this will cause all sorts of nastiy
- things to happen.

- 2) you can probably set the software to do a tape/disk comparison
- automatically after it does the backup.
