  12. I missed the earlier postings in this, so if I'm duping other suggestions,
  13. please be gentle with me.....

  15. I've been using a tape drive with dcc2120 tapes for some time now, and
  16. have also had occassions with high error rates.  A few things to watch for:
  17.  
  18. 1) MAKE SURE THE TAPE DRIVE is grounded!  LOTS of static is developed as
  19. the tape runs past the heads, and this will cause all sorts of nastiy
  20. things to happen.

  22. 2) you can probably set the software to do a tape/disk comparison
  23. automatically after it does the backup.
