- I had the same problem with Civilization and my NCR VESA Local Bus
- Card. I posted a question on the Microprose BBS and all that
- their tech support said was that I must have "some sort of BIOS problem".

- When I posted again for more explanation they stopped replying.

- I also noticed the same problem with GS2000 (another Microprose game) but
- the problem only occurred in the introduction.

- I ended up selling Civilization since the EGA mode is too harsh.
