- No, this is not normal. Try cleaning your tape drive, then see if the
- errors go away. If they don't, try a different tape. If you see the same
- thing happening, you might have a problem with you tape system. Perhaps
- you have a marginal set of tapes. You might even want to reformat your
- tapes.
