  23. This is what Intel planned originally. However they failed to account
  24. for the Independant Motherboard Manufacturer. These days a lot of the 
  25. motherboards will take a 486SX or DX interchangeably, with a simple 
  26. jumper setting, in the same socket. They often also have the extra 
  27. socket for the overdive chip (modified 486 DX2 or the mysterious chip-
  28. to-come).
