- This is what Intel planned originally. However they failed to account
- for the Independant Motherboard Manufacturer. These days a lot of the
- motherboards will take a 486SX or DX interchangeably, with a simple
- jumper setting, in the same socket. They often also have the extra
- socket for the overdive chip (modified 486 DX2 or the mysterious chip-
- to-come).
