- I recently purchased a ZEOS 486DX2-66 system and also got the
- 256K cache upgrade option. The system shipped with the cache
- but I am unable to determine if the system is acknowledging
- it's presence.
-
- Does anyone know of a way to test for additional cache memory?
-
- I have pulled the cache and have not experienced any degrading
- effects on performance. I will readily admit that I am not sure
- if my "test" results are accurate.
-
- I have heard some rumblings from ZEOS tech support folks that this
- item does not work and I am wondering if I have purchased vaporware...
-
- PS: There is no configuration for the cache in the BIOS setup, nor
- does it show up at boot time.
-
- Email or post your responses. Thanks.
