  15. I recently purchased a ZEOS 486DX2-66 system and also got the
  16. 256K cache upgrade option.  The system shipped with the cache
  17. but I am unable to determine if the system is acknowledging
  18. it's presence.

  20. Does anyone know of a way to test for additional cache memory?

  22. I have pulled the cache and have not experienced any degrading
  23. effects on performance.  I will readily admit that I am not sure
  24. if my "test" results are accurate.

  26. I have heard some rumblings from ZEOS tech support folks that this
  27. item does not work and I am wondering if I have purchased vaporware...

  29. PS:  There is no configuration for the cache in the BIOS setup, nor
  30. does it show up at boot time.
