- hello all,
-
- I have three things that require the use of serial ports. I have a mouse
- an internal modem, and a printer (actually an old teletype modem used as
- a printer and hooked up through a com prot). I would like to be able to use
- all of them at the same time. However, most things I have read indicate
- that com1 & com2 share IRQs with com3 & com4. Does anyone know how to
- set the I/O board to use 4 IRQs for the 4 com ports? I realize the
- detailed answer needs more hardware information, but I'm not sure what
- type of information you'd need. If you have any answers, or can even
- point me to a good reference please Email or post the answer.
-
- Thanks,
- ---
