  14. My memory is good but a bit rusty...could someone remind me what the
  15. entry point into the BIOS on a standard XT disk controller that
  16. initiates a low-level format? I recall typing something into DEBUG
  17. like:

  21. ....but this doesn't seem to work. I *could* try to scrape up a utility
  22. to do this, but that would mean me going to the machine rather than
  23. trying to fix it over the phone, and it seems a shame given that I know
  24. that the code is *somewhere* is the bios...
