  12. A while back I posted in some detail of problems I was having getting
  13. a 120MB CMS Trakker unit to work.  Since then, I sent it back to CMS
  14. for them to take a look at it.  The customer service in this firm is
  15. first rate, and many people took a lot of time to help me with the 
  16. problem.

  18. The bottom line is that the problem is really not CMS's.  The unit is
  19. very sensitive to el-cheapo serial/parallel cards, and the unit requires 
  20. that LPT1 be properly supported with IRQ circuits and logic on the board.  
  21. If you can't select among and between IRQs  for LPT1, your Trakker probably 
  22. will not work.  (As an aside, I also find that such boards don't work with 
  23. parallel port hardware locks either - or at least not reliably)

  26. four different manufactures of cards and have found problems with three 
  27. of them.  Once I find a solid supplier, I will let the network know.
