- Greetings cyber-flunkies!
-
- I have a simple question. How does one access the output from the
- mouse driver? I have an IBM compatible (286 DOS 4.01 and using a
- Microsoft Mouse driver). I would like to know what register or set of
- registers contain the information from the serial mouse.
- Since a mouse driver is used, I would think one does not read the
- COM port directly, but reads some spot in the memory where mouse info
- is stored (and periodically updated).
-
- How do I get the mouse info? I am writing some graphics utilities using
- Microsoft C and could find no documentation on how to access the mouse.
-
- Thanx
-
- Bill Slade.
