- I have a Scanman 256/Logitech. If you want to do OCR, don't bother with
- a handheld, because it is way too time consuming. Imaging is what handhelds
- do best and then mostly I've found that I use it for desktop publishing.
- I don't try to do funky wild things like scan in gifs.

- purchase accordingly.
