- I'd say my favorites are the IBM PS/2 keyboards (about the only thing
- nice I can say about them) and perhaps a Model D keyboard. The Keytronics
- no-click I got with my clone I hated at first but can now tolerate. I
- didn't particularly like the few Northgates I've tried, but I might have
- mellowed out to them after a while...

-
- I agree about the vt100. That one is physically demanding of the fingers
- and actually quite painful to use. The only thing worse I could imagine
- would be a manual typewriter. The only Compaq I've tried was one of the
- old luggables and its keyboard was pretty mushy.
-
- The very worst keyboard I've ever come across, though, was on a Tandon AT.
- Mushy wasn't the word. Spineless was more like it. There was a large "palm
- rest" on the bottom of the keyboard. The escape key was in the wrong place
- (like the original IBM AT). And so on..
-
- (On top of this the entire computer turned a dirty shade of pale yellow
- over time 9-) )
