- I doubt if your mother board can drive the IDE due to the sector translation
- on the drive which does not match any priviously asigned hard disks. 7080A
- has 981 cyl., 10 hds., 17 sec., (specified for DOS, in fact it has 1170
- cyl., 4 hds., and 36 sectors). The address of hard drive table can be found
- at 0000:0118-0000:011B. Hard drive table hase 16 byte for each entry:
- cyl 2 Bytes
- hds 1 "
- - 2 "
- cmp 2 "
- - 5 "
- zone 2 "
- sec/trk 1 "
- - 1 "
- find the parameter and see which one matches. using the other configuration
- for your HD, reduces the size too. So be brave, change your mother board!
- Then you will have type 47, user specified type!!
