  37. Bad news...  guess what.  If it came from a PS/2 and it is an internal modem
  38. it might be a MCA modem.  If it is an external, and you type AT, and get
  39. OK back, the cable is just fine.  I run 25 pin cable straight though on
  40. my modems.

  42. Do   ATS11?   and ATS9?
  43. One of these are going to be 55 or above. (I think it will be 11, so check
  44. that first).  Do this : ATS11=95
  45.  
  46. That will lengthen the tones to 95 ms.

  48. Also, try ATDP and see if it pulse dials and can make it out.
