  15. I have problems with a Hardcard hard disks, one of those that are thin
  16. enough to slip in a slot. It does not start up anymore, and the sales
  17. droid says that is because the oil in it dried (?) and hence the friction
  18. that needs to be overcome at startup is too large.

  20. Has somebody a solution for this? I thought of changing a ROM, that is, if
  21. the ROM's contain info about the startup currents? Is this feasible? And
  22. where can I get such a ROM?
