- Hi,
-
- I have problems with a Hardcard hard disks, one of those that are thin
- enough to slip in a slot. It does not start up anymore, and the sales
- droid says that is because the oil in it dried (?) and hence the friction
- that needs to be overcome at startup is too large.
-
- Has somebody a solution for this? I thought of changing a ROM, that is, if
- the ROM's contain info about the startup currents? Is this feasible? And
- where can I get such a ROM?
-
- Thanks,
-
- Peter
