- I have the same problem with my system on some games that use the digitized
- voices on the SoundBlaster or SoundBlaster Pro. On my system, I have a DMA,
- (Direct Memory Access), conflict on DMA Channel 1. So I just install using
- the Adlib option instead of SoundBlaster and everything works fine. I get
- all the digitized sound; just not the voices. Minor inconvenience.
-
- It is possible that you have another peripheral device which uses the DMA
- channel that your sound card uses.
-
- Good Luck,
