- I just recently bought Falcon 3.0, and I seem to have a recurring problem.
- The computer-controlled F16's just keep getting shot down. I even watched one
- pull a stupid barrel roll at 500 feet and slam himself into the ground, once.
- (this was right after takeoff, so I know he hadn't been hit.)
-
- Does anyone have any recommendations for keeping my pilots alive when I'm not
- controlling them? I am already making an effort to route them between SAM
- sites, so they stay out of range as much as possible, and am giving them ECM
- pods on strike missions...
-
- Oh, yes. And sometimes, I see that some pilots' dogfighting ability has been
- reduced to "5/0". What in the bloody blue blazes happened to these guys? A
- traumatic UFO sighting, maybe? I can slowly build them back up in Red Flag,
- but what happened? I suspect it may be a result of bailing out and being
- rescued (vs. flying back in one piece), but I don't understand how that would
- affect their dogfighting ability.
-
- Thanks in advance for any help,
- LC
