Not true. Padlock view will only track incoming missile if you press 8 after
the missile is launched. When you do this Padlock view will follow the missile
until you press t to change target. You cannot change to track missile by
pressing t.
If I remember correctly, the ability to track missiles was added
in version 3.0D. You can see what version you have by looking in the lower
right corner of the intro screen.
