- The game is buggy, but I and a couple of friends have been able to get
- it to work fairly consistently, and we've never had problems resuming
- saved games. Note that we have played by modem, not null cable, though
- in theory that shouldn't make a difference.
- Send me some more details on how you connect and what goes wrong, maybe
- I can help. SO far as I can figure out you cannot control which computer
- is the "host", it seems to be a coin flip - however it may not make a
- difference, I don't think the game puts all that big a strain on the
- processor (and note with modems at least, the game uses them at 2400
- baud no matter what speed the modems are capable of, suggesting that
- speed is not a big issue).
- I highly recommend getting the 2.0 patch and reading the readme text
- file with it. The patch is available by ftp somewhere (dnn't know
- where), or from Ozark Softscape's bbs at 501-376-2218.

- Actually, I see you're at Purdue - I'm in Chicago, perhaps we could play
- if you get it working, that's not too big a long-distance call I don't
- think.
